At Tierra Luna Cellars, we’ve always believed that great wine is best enjoyed in great company. And what better way to share our wines than by creating a space where you can sip, savor, and immerse yourself in the journey of each bottle? That’s why we’re thrilled to take you behind the scenes as we embark on an exciting new chapter—opening our very own tasting room!
Opening a tasting room isn’t just about finding a space and setting up a bar. It’s about creating an experience. From the very beginning, we asked ourselves: What do we want our guests to feel when they walk in? Inspired? Nostalgic? Transported to the vineyards where our grapes are grown? For Tierra Luna Cellars, our vision is clear—we want to craft a place that honors our roots, tells the story of our wines, and welcomes wine lovers from all walks of life. Of course we want to elegantly add a touch of astronaut memorabilia and decorations. This is Jose’s way of bridging his worlds and opening the doors to you and inviting you for a conversation.
Right now, we’re in the blueprinting stage—the phase where dreams meet reality. This means working with architects and designers to map out the space, ensuring every detail reflects our vision. Where should the tasting bar go? How can we create cozy seating areas? What kind of lighting will bring out the best in our wines? These are just a few of the questions we’re answering as we lay the foundation for our tasting experience.
Once the blueprint is finalized, the real magic begins—construction, interior design, and, of course, stocking the bar with our favorite Tierra Luna Cellars wines! This stage will take some time, but we promise it will be worth the wait. Think rustic elegance meets celestial inspiration, a nod to our founder, former NASA astronaut Jose M. Hernandez.
While we’re not there just yet, we can already picture it—our doors opening for the first time, glasses clinking in celebration, and you, our supporters, getting to experience Tierra Luna Cellars in a whole new way. Stay tuned as we share updates on our progress, sneak peeks of the design, and maybe even a few surprises along the way.
For now, we invite you to dream with us. What would you love to see in our tasting room? Let us know in the comments—we’re building this space for you, after all!
