Tierra Luna Cellars Hosts Its First Wine Tasting Event in Lodi, California
On Saturday, October 25th, Tierra Luna Cellars reached an exciting new milestone with our first official wine tasting event, held at the beautiful Estate Crush winery in Lodi, California. The evening was filled with exceptional wines, heartfelt stories, and a shared passion for community and purpose.
Guests had the opportunity to experience our award-winning collection including our signature Stella Z Zinfandel, Cuatro Stellas red blend, and Nova Stella white blend, while learning more about the inspiration behind each bottle from our founder, former NASA astronaut José M. Hernández.
But this night was more than a celebration of fine wine—it was a celebration of giving back. Proceeds from the event supported two causes close to our hearts: the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the Reaching for the Stars Foundation. Both organizations share Tierra Luna Cellars’ mission of empowering the next generation of dreamers and leaders.

The League of United Latin American Citizens is the nation’s oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization. For over 90 years, LULAC has championed education, economic opportunity, and political empowerment in Hispanic communities across the United States. Through scholarships, leadership programs, and advocacy initiatives, LULAC helps students and families achieve their full potential.
Reaching for the Stars Foundation
Founded by José M. Hernández, the Reaching for the Stars Foundation was inspired by his journey from the fields of California’s Central Valley to the stars. The foundation provides STEM education and mentorship opportunities for underserved youth, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and inspiration to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—no matter their background.
